Every year, representatives of parliaments and governments from different countries gather at the World Conference on e-Parliament. This year such a conference was held in Geneva on December 4th.
Participants discuss programs and development prospects, set new trends and present best practices. This year, the Ukrainian delegation presented the experience of the Verkhovna Rada on the elaboration and implementation of the Strategy of the E-Parliament of Ukraine for 2018-2020, including the issues of interaction with all stakeholders, in particular, the cooperation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the State Agency for E-Governance and civil society representatives.
The preparation and participation of the delegation from Ukraine at the World Conference on Electronic Parliament in 2018 became possible with assistance of the Swiss-Ukrainian Program E-Governance for Accountability and Participation (EGAP) and the USAID RADA: Responsibility, Accountability, Democratic Parliamentary Representation, which is implemented by East Europe Foundation.
