Representatives of 79 united territorial communities (UTC) – participants of the Program “Local System Development” – gathered in Kyiv at the end of November.
The program, implemented within the framework of the USAID “Agriculture and Rural Development Support” (ARDS) Project, aims to assist these communities in managing land resources and attracting investment.
This Program for UTC aims to help in following areas:
∙ Effective management of land and other resources within the framework of GIS technology;
∙ Development of UTC’s ability to formulate development projects for attracting investments;
∙ Consolidating the interests of government, local authorities, business and non-state sector on the basis of cooperation and partnership.
